Apa Saja Kriteria Sanitasi Layak? Berikut Penjelasannya

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – Sanitasi merupakan salah satu dari empat kriteria rumah layak huni. Apabila diabaikan, tentu akan memengaruhi kenyamanan hingga kesehatan penghuni rumah. Sebagaimana dilansir dar laman resmi National Affordable Housing Program (NAHP) Kementerian PUPR, empat kriteria rumah layak huni meliputi ketahanan bangunan, luas rumah, air minum, dan sanitas layak. Khusus untuk sanitasi layak, terdiri dari bangunan sebagai sarana mandi cuci kakus beserta septic tank yang layak, saluran pembuangan air kotor, hingga sistem pembuangan air limbah.

Indonesia Punya Tiga Masalah Air, Basuki Beberkan Solusinya Sanitasi yang dimaksud dapat berada di dalam rumah, halaman rumah, atau komunal. Asalkan jaraknya yang terjangkau (dekat dari rumah) dan dapat melayani seluruh anggota keluarga. Megutip dari unggahan akun Twitter resmi National Affordable Housing Program (NAHP) Kementerian PUPR pada Rabu (23/03/2022), berikut kriteria-kriteria sanitasi layak. Jamban Sehat Jamban yang sehat harus tertutup dinding dan atap. Dilengkapi penerangan dan lubang ventilasi yang baik.

Peralatan kamar mandi, cuci, dan kakus meliputi septic tank, kloset, instalasi pipa, serta kran. Luas ukuran kamar mandi yang sehat dan nyaman minimal 160 centimeter x 140 centimeter. Sisanya untuk ruang gerak penguni rumah. Sementara untuk luas ukuran kloset dan bak mandi masing-masing 80 centimeter x 70 centimeter. Khusus bak mandi, harus lebih tinggi 70 centimeter dari lantai kloset. Lantai kamar mandi harus lebih rendah 3 centimeter dari ruangan di luarnya. Lalu lantai untuk kloset juga harus lebih tinggi 10 centimeter dari ruangan kamar mandi.
