Dinas Kepemudaan, Olahraga dan Pariwisata (Diskopar) Kabupaten Probolinggo menggelar pelatihan kebersihan lingkungan, sanitasi dan pengelolaan sampah kepada pengelola destinasi wisata.
Sejumlah pengelola wisata di Probolinggo, seperti Gunung Bromo, Madakaripura, Tirto Ageng, Pantai Bahak, Pantai Bentar, Ronggojalu, P30, Pantai Duta, Andungbiru, Pantai Klasik, Pantai Pesona, Puncaksari, Ranu Agung, Bukit Dami, Ranu Segaran, Guyangan dan Kalipedati, ambil bagian pada kegiatan tersebut.
Kepala Bidang Destinasi dan Industri Pariwisata Diskopar Kabupaten Probolinggo Nurahman mengungkapkan, kegiatan ini bertujuan meningkatkan pengetahuan, motivasi dan kemampuan para pengelola daya tarik wisata dan desa wisata dalam melaksanakan kebersihan lingkungan, sanitasi dan pengelola sampah.
”Sasaran yang harus dicapai dari pelatihan ini adalah pengelola destinasi wisata mengetahui dan memahami pentingnya pengelolaan kebersihan lingkungan, sanitasi dan pengelolaan sampah sesuai standar, khususnya di masa pandemi Covid-19,” ujarnya, Jumat (12/8/2022).
Kepala Dinas Kepemudaan dan Pariwiisata Kabupaten Probolinggo Sugeng Wiyanto mengatakan, kebersihan lingkungan, sanitasi dan pengelolaan sampah di destinasi pariwisata itu menjadi tanggung jawab bersama dalam mengatasi masalah sampah di destinasi wisata.
“Kami mengajak agar kebersihan lingkungan di destinasi wisata harus dijaga dan ditangani dengan serius karena merupakan tanggung jawab kita semua termasuk pengelola, pemerintah dan masyarakat,” katanya.
